Letterpress printing has endured for centuries as one of the most beautiful ways to put text on paper. It is a wonderfully versatile craft, ideal for combining type and imagery. This one-to-one session suits complete beginners as well as those with some previous experience, all in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We will personalise the lesson to you and help you bring an idea to life.

You will leave with a finished piece to take home and a solid grounding in the basics of letterpress printing. We have a large collection of wood and lead type for you to work with, along with plenty of vibrant coloured inks to bring your artwork to life.

Sessions can be booked in the evening, at the weekend or during the day. Once we receive your booking, we will contact you by email to arrange a day and time that suits you. Sessions can be tailored to your interests, and if you would like to come as a group, just email us for details.

Prefer to give it as a gift? You can buy this as a voucher, which makes a perfect creative present for family and friends. Vouchers can be personalised if you wish. Once we receive your order, we will email to ask whether you would like a printed copy sent by post or a digital version to print at home.

Cancellations:
Deposits and payments are refundable or transferable if we receive a minimum of 10 days' notice of any changes. With under 10 days' notice, a fee of £40 will be taken. The course fee needs to be paid in full before the class.
